Volunteer Opportunities

Whether you are interested in working at a blood drive or in an office, we have a volunteer opportunity available for you.  Find a position that suites you and join the mission of the Red Cross today.

Blood Drive Ambassador
As a Blood Drive Ambassador you can help ensure that every blood donor has a rewarding experience so they will return to save another life.  Greeting, educating, escorting and serving light refreshments to blood donors at local blood drives and donor centers makes a difference.
Courier
As a Courier you will be part of the Red Cross mission to provide life-saving blood to our community.  Transporting blood to local hospitals and from community blood drives to the Red Cross helps ensure that patient needs do not go unmet.
Language Translator
Utilizing special foreign language skills, Language Translators assist non-English speaking donors through the donation process.  Translating confidential health history information to our collection staff helps blood donors who are giving the gift of life at local blood drives.
Mobile Unit Assistant
Serving this capacity, you will assist in the warehouse area, preparing equipment and organizing supplies for mobile blood drives.  As a Mobile Unit Assistant, you can feel the satisfaction that comes from helping save lives.
Office Assistant
As an Office Assistant you can provide important support to our mission by assisting our various departments with filing, copying and sorting, data entry, reception and general office work.  Use and develop your professional skills as you help others.
Phone Team
As part of the Phone Team you will make an immediate and positive connection with blood donors. Join a great team of volunteers who are responsible for contacting past donors to inform them when they are eligible to donate again, thank donors, and remind them of their life-saving donation appointment.
